James Walker Powell, CFP, BPE, Dip teachFinancial Planner and Principal James Walker-Powell is an entrepreneur who runs a successful financial planning business. He holds a Bachelor of Physical Education as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning. James is a keen sportsman and a respected coach in both sport and business. James is a financial coach to a large number of high profile legal and medical professionals, senior executives and small business owners. He is a regular contributor in both the print and electronic media. James has been in financial planning since 1989, working with successful men and women who see him as their facilitator. He was honoured last year by being ranked in the top three financial advisers by the Australian Association of Financial Advisers.
Samantha LeckyClient Service / Paraplanner Having completed the Diploma of Financial Planning, Samantha brings over 12 years experience to her role of Client Service / Paraplanner. This role includes everything from completing complex Statement of Advice documents to answering most of our client’s queries. Samantha has two young adult children and away from work enjoys running, kayaking and reading.
Claire GallagherAdministration Manager Joining More4Life in November 2009, Claire has worked for over 15 years in the financial services industry in various administration/executive support roles. She is also a qualified IT Trainer and IT support technician. Claire is responsible for the general office administration and also provides PA support to James. She is married with a primary school aged son who is a very talented soccer player.
Kristen MartinClient Services Officer Kristen joined the team in 2010 and deals with everything from underwriting queries with life insurance to assisting with compiling necessary information for Self Managed Superannuation accounts. She has previous experience in Margin Lending, Managed Funds, Share Trading and property mortgages. Kristen has 2 toddlers who keep her busy outside of working hours. Kristen also enjoys camping and the outdoors with her family.
Alison Walker-PowellBookkeeper, Events Manager and HR Officer Alison is our Bookkeeper, Events Manager and HR Officer. Alison is married (to James) and they also have two children.
